Theoretically a . Trying to do something big with characters interacting with each other and a background, completely digitally. Turns out the stylus for my bigger tablet is *less* expressive for whatever reason. Adventurer vs minotaur, technically there's boy bits.

mounted sergeant with crossbow and some kinda small fantasy stronghold, listening to The Sword to start out with.

so far today. A lone derro (Pilsudski looking dwarf) hides from his drow pursuers among the mushrooms… but maybe that’s not as safe as thought? And, pirates fighting from the top masts.

Also today I went to see the ocean. There's a big long trail somewhat inland ,where you can see past grasses and scrub to the beach; it ends up near a huge long jetty. I walked back along the beach itself, and there was so much spray my clothes were completely soaked.

underneath the bridge
the tarp has sprung a leak
and the animals I've trapped
have all become my pets
and I'm living off of grass
and the drippings from the ceiling

Just one today, adventurer trying to brace a door against a hydra or some other reptilian creature of the deep.

today are all digital in Clip Studio. Took a bit longer, intimidating AF. Halfling bard maybe, warrior, and a werewolf.

today were about characters harder to draw in practice than in theory. Rat girl pinup art (nude but technically work safe) and The Incredible Hulk (SFW). You can tell when I was listening to whatever was on speakers at Starbucks rather than the Jurassic World soundtrack.

today were more trying to figure out added tone and just staging. So; a group of monsters (orc warrior, giant ranger, hobgoblin alchemist, goblin witch and soldier) advance down a mountainside and adventurers (dragonborn cleric, elf wizard, dwarf fighter) explore the dungeon.

Just putting some color on a , trying to be more painterly to match some thoughts about pencilling. Werewolf oracle and werefox.

Two so far today. A selection of pirates and a dispute between vampires. Working larger and using a fingertip to blend instead of the stamp.

so far today; a frog folk slinger, an undead gunslinger, and I added a frost giant rune priest to a page with some sort of winter wight from a couple days ago.

from yesterday; a sequence with a sorta-Jedi parrying blaster bolts, adventurers versus a fearsome owlbear, and a mechanical dragon guarding a vault.

Two more today, adventurers vs owlbear, and a mechanical dragon. I’m mostly thinking about contrast with shadows to pop out figures, with a little trying to use the blending stamp to get some depth of field.

Also here’s from yesterday for the morning crowd; duergar slaver tries to use net to capture an adventurer, a drow priestess and her house, and a dwarf hero in plate armor vs bugbears.

Tried doing more sequential stuff, a little sequence of vaguely-Luke-Skywalker striding forward, parrying blaster bolts on the move.

Last for today, kinda rough because today’s being rough; dwarf champion vs bugbears.

Anyway have some - a duergar slaver attempts to capture an adventurer from the surface world, and a drow priestess gives orders, backed up by her noble house.

so far today; experimenting with Col-Erase pencils on three fire giants, and normal graphite pencils for a ghoul knight, ghoul noble and portrait. Also b/c I was thinking of this awesome Wayne Reynolds painting, there’s a kitty!

Sure let’s overwork the joke with a clown version of a Frazetta cover painting.
