@FamiliarAlien it's a nice compromise with the really cartoony style, so it got me looking at your really cartoony stuff, and that looks *fantastic* and not much of the fandom does that (I just do *not* do cartoons very well), so that's a follow and, if you have a pointer to more art elsewhere, I'd love to see.

Every time I get my grubby mitts on an old WtA supplement thinking it’s gonna be the best thing ever, it’s uh… not.

Really not too happy with how paranoid I’ve gotten about my fellow citizens and their politics (all right wingers are obvious about it because there’s literally no down side for them, and all it takes are a few obvious people to suggest an entire area is ultra-super-rightwing).

This writer’s biases about the Vietnam War (for instance; there’s a tiny section 2/3 through the book which mentions Australian and S Korean armor, and the larger section on PAVN armor at the very end mentions a breakthrough at Khe Sanh which he doesn’t mention in earlier accounts of armored engagement) mean I’m dubious of his “facts.” In short; this is a good visual guide to US and even PAVN materiel only, and a good pointer to other research, but essentially Americanized Dolchstoßlegende.

It’s frustrating watching the sheer volume of money that could move the world to more renewable energy or clean the oceans (both theoretically good for business incidentally; I’m amazed by how capitalism somehow thinks long term continuous growth is possible without consumers) instead going to assure that we can drop n-bombs with impunity.

Okay Rage Across the Amazon is very uh… 90s White Wolf in it’s cultural sensitivity, and if I ever run a chronicle set in Brazil I’m gonna make it a LOT more Ife-Yoruba influenced.
