Some photos of this morning’s hike in Olallie State Park!

I cede the trail to three women, all of whom are natural 10s who could have stepped out of an Utamaro print, except for they have light breathable hiking clothes way nicer than my T-shirt and jeans.

We’re at the part where I want to teleport to the trailhead (shouting BAMF! does not work) and I’m thinking about food. I was gonna get Singapore style noodles at this one place near the bookstore, but it’s Sunday and I’ve been exercising like crazy, I think a bowl of menudo would be in order.

@topaz I am actually but rn I’m still on this trail, then I was gonna go to a different used bookstore. So it’s gonna be hours, if at all cause I probably want to draw

Either I haven’t actually visited this park or I did and forgot there’s no parking and one fairly narrow trail. And a lot of people had the same thought about getting outside! So this is gonna be a less isolated hike than I’d hoped, but ehhh.

okay, while I'm delighted by how everything's funny, clearly this is also a useful reminder that I'm not yet sober and should NOT drive anywhere which is cool, the crepe place won't open for another two hours

At some level I'm afraid of dragging everyone into what I Want To Do, and for half of forever, and yet at another level of course I want to do that.
