Went to the Burke Museum on free museum Thursday, and saw so much dead stuff!

Well… I did get a soy sauce chicken, which became also getting bok choy, roma beans to stew, canned lo han chai, oden etc AND since the Russian grocery is nearby I’m getting pelmeni and hopefully pirogi and kvass. This is why I was reluctant to stop for soy sauce chicken.

bleah after going to sleep feeling warm and fairly good I had some sort of gross anxiety spike which got me very awake, also connected to apparently needing to pee like an elephant. I am now vaguely thinking about taking one of the "gothic flanged mace to the head dose of melatonin" tablets

@frost I have a cup of chamomile tea! Got a teabag from a friend aaaaages ago.

probably should NOT snack this late at night but that bit of adulting was REALLY a lot. So I have a slightly underripe persimmon (I like them crunchier) and am thinking of making tea.

@frost the rent is ouchy since it jumps up something like $80 every year (so a $960 increase annually overall), and this place hasn't changed a damn bit. Car stuff gets weird; with car, you get car insurance plus gas money but you also can get places pretty easily, and when there's work, it's definitely worth the expense. I wish it weren't all so fucking crippling, and that I could actually manage to save up some.

actually y'know what, I needed to do it so I paid off the goddamn liver fluke nematode parasite car insurance and it's DONE and now I can worry about money for December rent and if I'm lucky I'll have enough to buy groceries. Gonna listen to the Green Tara Mantra, I knew doing this was going to upset me pretty badly.

@frost I'm between jobs and it is VERY IMPORTANT that I spend money on car insurance rather than more books about dead Greek people.

I do not need to get really baked. I do not need to buy books about Cycladic stuff. I do NOT need to get really baked, eat all the mezedes in the cabinet, AND buy books about Cycladic stuff.
