I also loathe that fellow leftists are refusing to vote for Biden over this. Believe me I would rather have the New Deal than rewarmed Clinton administration but again I want to avoid deaths. That situation is THERE; saving Americans from Republicans (and when there’s a Republican president, AMERICANS DIE) is over HERE.

I really REALLY don’t like the Administration’s take on this. Holding out aid is leverage they could use to push for a ceasefire and to me it is clear that Gaza IS a humanitarian crisis, the hostages NEED to be returned, and these people will ALWAYS want us dead, there’s no way the situation will be secure soon. Why not save some lives instead?

@cuddlemelon@mastodon.social sesame oil is worth getting just to have around, it's pretty shelf stable and works great for stuff that's fairly late stage in cooking or no cooking.
