* April. Fired. Landlords announce hiking my rent in June again.
* May. Work at a call center but I have to pass training and it seems intended that I will fail, which then happens, ending the assignment. Triggery.
* June. Temp job at a non profit, a friend (not close, but a friend) suicides. Another area friend who I’d hoped would become a housemate has to move south.
* July. Non profit job ends.
* August. Start work at a seafood company.
* September. High holidays.

* January. Starts ridiculously good but my job duties get cut, then I get laid off.
* February. Start a new job at a property management company. Dental insurance conveniently finds reasons I now need to pay for stuff in October.
*March. Provide crash space for someone who’s getting kicked out, pick up/transport their stuff to Portland. Suddenly management has decided to get rid of my job via deciding I’m a terrible employee which doesn’t get communicated gently…

Anyway, Half Price Books has a sale so I stumbled around both of the east side ones yesterday and came away with one rules book I haven’t owned in decades plus a player’s guide I always wanted but never owned. Explains today’s listening to The Cure and Sisters of Mercy.
