labubu themed doorstop or a labubrrrrrrrt

Then as response to the NYC transition team I said it was great that NYC was transitioning and I was happy for him, someone pointed out, they already swapped names before, and I suggested NYC’s neopronouns were dhey/dem/dose.

Different Belmonts in Castelvania! There’s Simon Belmont, Julius Belmont, but also Leonard and Arthur (originally Adolph) Belmont.

Medieval Scandinavian songs are all like “At dusk she called for Lille Karin but there was no reply, but the Blessed Virgin told her that Lille Karin fell into the bog and drowned and now sits at her side in heaven, all under the lindens.”

okay, so I put up "red" slaw (forget which in a series of now-closed restaurants recipes this was, but it's paprika/ketchup/lemon juice based slaw) and marinated fried tofu for tomorrow's party, to go with the carrot salad I made last night. Really hope all of it's actually *good*.

@Tuftears I had really not thought too hard about it and just saw it as a way of pointing towards the central figure as well as filling space with something interesting. Whoops. Maybe if I ink this, I'll move them left?

something confirmed today which theoretically was always obvious; if I feel stuck in one place, EVERYTHING FEELS WORSE. I'm half to being triggered already so CPTSD or ADHD symptom, anything that feels sorta upsetting ramps right up to incredibly upsetting.

This oughta be screamingly funny to about two people.

@CoyoteTraveller commented over in Discord, but there's a rule about helmets I'd missed because it's one tiny paragraph in the DMG -- they don't automatically come with your armor, you have to buy them, and if you're not wearing a helmet, you're far more likely to be hit/targeted in your AC 10 head.

woooowwww. Today, with AD&D as firmly lodged in the past as outrage about Cyndi Lauper's "She Bop," someone pointed out ANOTHER thing Gary did to FUCK OVER PLAYERS. It's the helmet rule on page 28 of the DMG where I apparently missed it for DECADES.

and then in the shower I asked myself the obvious question, "could my ADHD make my depression worse/could my depression make my ADHD symptoms worse?" and a little bit of checking online revealed yes, but it was all phrased as "you're depressed because you can't successfully complete all these tasks and focus like you're required to," which kinda strikes a sour nerve.

And here my memory loss isn't doing me any favors. Previous years' dismal gray seem to get subsumed into office work remembered as busy and cold, and last year EVERYTHING was emotionally wiped thanks to the election, the only reason any of it got remembered was a once-in-a-decade storm.

@Angle This is so COOL and I've gotten sucked into reading it. Thank you!

@Tuftears For games. Idk, I should try to sell myself again, but that's REALLY intimidating.
