Tonight’s #drawing grew partly from the werewolf’s facial expression. When I played a Black Fury the all women part the splatbooks really emphasized was less interesting to me than the Greek part, so I made up some lore about them, including tongue out (like a gorgon’s head) being a formal challenge.
it's so painfully obvious to me that Spielberg wanted to make a Bollywood adventure comedy and chickened out on the musical numbers.
Tonight’s #drawings, working larger. This turns out to be a hugely kinetic learning thing more than learning new anatomy etc.

this therian spoken word performance manages to go in between "kinda predictably hokey" to "strikes sore enough nerves I want to paw at the ground and whimper." We're currently at a point about human alienation from the wild and it sounds like, any moment now, she's going to start telling us about how we Children of Gaia fought against the Impergium (and no, I'm a Silent Strider, thanks).
I now think that this is on me as an abuse meets neurodiversity thing; other kids realized they had to DO it, but they weren't required to LOVE it, where I always felt deeply flawed because I didn't ADORE whatever was mandatory (though they would never have been a receptive audience even if I could've figured out how to ask to focus on stuff I really liked).
Currently thinking the central issue of ADHD was always trying to understand why I’d want to do something dead boring with lots of benefit for other people, other than coercion. Made worse by how childhood was inherently coercive. And no parent or teacher can make insults and unflattering comparisons to “better” people internally rewarding.

@eredien I really like it but couldn't tell you why!
Lots of random gunk, but some drawings and cooking talk too. Obsesses about DnD and related topics. Left-leaning/profoundly frustrated politics. Black lives matter; trans rights are human rights.
