A couple more personal observations;
* part of why con drop is going from work (and possibly travel) to desired high activity to work. It’s like how drawing, much as it helps me recharge, is still work and still eats energy.

* being stomped on incidentally can look a lot like willful, malicious intent, especially because being stomped on for someone else’s convenience is sorta abusive *anyway*. And my childhood had relatively few actual bullies but lots of self absorbed folks and coerced dogma.

@Deglassco I mean, any history provided in public schools is going to be an oversimplification convenient to those in power, and revisionism is pushing back right now, but you grow up surrounded by reminders of the ACW, Jim Crow and the Civil Rights Movement, and you go “what happened has to be more complex than evil carpetbaggers and a very very cleaned up version of sharecropping.”

AU in which the Brendan Fraser "Mummy" movies and "Van Helsing" really took off in the early 00s, leading to a spate of "must see" Universal monster movies which had definite fans but which many other people were completely sick of by 2015 or so.

Since the self hate has moved in and my job is radically decreased from 2 weeks ago; here are some fursuit photos from the weekend which was a lot more fun.

@Kusimanse have decided I’ll use the spinach for sigumchi namul, and augment the noodle salad. There’s some waste but it’s a good dinner.
