Zardoz starts off with one hell of a bang, and then it becomes this slog. The cinematic equivalent to starting your roadtrip with the weirdest food you can find in the corner store - a little strange but kinda cool actually - then promptly spending the next 2 hours stuck in bumper to bumper traffic.
