#drawing was the only good thing to come out of today, I really like the idea! If I revamp this I might choose a more conventional ranger.

This is been the sort of day which would make a younger version of me suicidal and self harming. As it is, I just finished a crappy day that made me feel like an utter moron/angry monster. And though that’s not exactly true, and the distance is an improvement, it’s still really hard going, you know?

Coworker has managed to stomp on my issues two days running (can explain if needed), and I’m sure there are emotional takeaways I haven’t figured out yet. However, right now I just want to go home; I’ve come very close to quitting; and I think getting stoned later is pragmatic mental hygiene.

What if I played hookey to get a Nutella strawberry crepe, nap, draw, and not have my issues stepped on while stuck inside doing endless tasks far from home?

A big personal side of politics here is, my experience has been older people (not completely bought into an utterly vile system, the best example here is my Dad) seek solace in the idea that everything is shit. This is not how *I* want to become a senior citizen. There’s of course nuance (life holds lots of joy despite literally the worst people… if you survive the direct or indirect actions of right wingers and antisemites), but I would like to feel justified in hope politically, as well.

I remain pissed at nominal allies and by extension myself. I’m not quite past all of 2023’s bullshit after all. Technically given the grinding resentment, I’m still not quite over 2002’s bullshit.

Following up Sisters of Mercy with Clan of Xymox is pretty logical, but I can’t help feeling I need eyeshadow at this point.

Oh yeah starting the week with Sisters of Mercy’s “Floodland” album. What’s he on about? Who cares, it’s DARK. I use two dots of Animalism!

tbh, I think you can still welcome kink into furry cons and spaces *even* if you're fairly vanilla or ace, *even* if you see puritanism as a move to make *you* unwelcome next;

frankly, the kink still brings creative and independent energy, and without *that* you get bland shit like San Francisco Pride.

Currently kinda sad that party over, weekend over, and lots of uncertainty ahead. Trying to spend some of the last daylight outside.
