okay mastodon hypothetical situation;
you're an artist and a commissioner wants their stuff worked on including an old picture that never went anywhere. You worked on commission stuff last weekend and since you feel kinda burned out you'd originally planned to take the weekend off. Do you;
a) crank on their stuff in hopes of getting it to go away faster or
b) set it aside because talking with the customer counts as work b/c it sent your stress into the stratosphere

Although if you want animated films I loved while baked; Book of Life. Between the steampunk cyborg boars, the rolling maze that transforms into a giant golem, and finally the undead colossus made from the bones of hundreds of dead bulls, I had some sort of D&Dgasm that lasted about 90 minutes.
Imho though the best possible Stoned Film is probably Nova Seed, which is everything 10 year old me could have dreamed of.

I was far gone that not only was I baked for all of Dune, I was baked for all of Up (which I hadn't seen before and predictably I cried like crazy about), then How to Train Your Dragon (which I also hadn't seen before), and finally sobered during Fantastic Mister Fox.
Apparently stoned-me wants anything fantasy to be seriously epic - f'rex after the ships return from losing to dragons, I thought they'd cut off/brought back their jarl's head so he couldn't be dishonored.

"this one time I was so stoned"
So for the longest time I'd never actually made it through Dune while baked. It's a long movie but gets LONGER while baked. What seems to be consistent is for some reason I think all the lamps in that movie are awesome.
the first time I made it through the whole thing was at a friend's place for Thanksgiving out of state. I was about as baked as I can get without overdoing edibles (which is easy for me; I overdo it on regular cookies too).
Lots of random gunk, but some drawings and cooking talk too. Obsesses about DnD and related topics. Left-leaning/profoundly frustrated politics. Black lives matter; trans rights are human rights.
