The Incredibles are basically FF meets Bond.

There's all of these FF space things, like Galactus and his heralds, or the Skrulls. And there's all the space stuff in You Only Live Twice and Moonraker.

*Therefore* I think the way to do something thematically appropriate but different in Incredibles 3 would be to go off-planet.

I’m apparently low on spoons to the point of feeling weepy in this place I’m at with my housemates. And someone hit bad memories badly enough at Peets that I was completely focused on them, and not the other person who was upsetting my housemate.

I kinda realized what I liked about it was that there *aren't* that many plot threads and they're all really close;

* Mister Incredible is trying to be a good stay at home dad
* related to Jack Jack developing powers
* related to Elastigirl's new job
* Elastigirl's new job is someone trying to legitimize supers while someone else is trying to destroy them

The story's simplicity means you can have all these cool characters, with everyone getting a chance to shine.
