Apparently today started with "wow I resent the fuck out of a relationship that's been over now for slightly longer than it lasted" and quickly plunged into thinking I'm trans, again.

I'd been thinking I'm nonbinary and don't want to transition, for the last year or so, but then I realize that my entire personality was largely shut down in 2017.

Question, for people who know what I look like. If you didn't know, would you think this photo is another selfie, or possibly a close relative?

and now the point in the evening when, having put in somewhere around 2 hours worth of jamming on background check and required paperwork and emails, I remember that I'm desperately scared and having raspberry jam in the fridge is saddening because it makes me think of things maybe being better.

I really dislike filling out background checks, it makes me feel like my past is about to condemn me. It doesn't take much to really trigger my paranoia about authorities, and that's a lot.
