went through a batch of email, confirmed last week's assignment, filled out information and scheduled fingerprinting, checked in with agency. This was *going* to be my down time to grab a nap and look at art stuff.

Crushing sadness, but I moved nearly all the kitchen stuff and put nearly all the trash in dumpsters.

For every failure screaming in your brain there’s at least a handful of softly whispered successes. I think this is true for all of us.

the ongoing problem; somehow I have to believe that I'm actually an okay person who merits life and happiness despite [whatever qualifier], because the alternative is following Kurt, Chris, Rob and Ryonasuke into the darkness, which would hurt people and what I actually want is for the situation to be better, not to necessarily be gone.

The weirdest incidental noise here turns out to be BART running. I *think* but am not sure I can sleep through it - light levels are a little more tricky - and I'm pretty sure it'd drive me nuts if I were closer to the station. It's weird though how audible it is!

soooo I worked for around 13 hours with breaks, and moved a ton of stuff and if it's a bit of anatomy that can lift or pull anything, mine is sore right now.

I mean, okay, so also I installed a new app at top speeds on my phone to adapt to having to pull up insurance information, and have driven not one but two entirely new vehicles today, one of which is incredibly unwieldy, and those, too, scared me. I'm not exactly the bravest scrawny nondomestic canine out there.
