Today’s National Coming Out Day, which I didn’t previously know. I’m Queer!

It’s today b/c there was a huge rally in DC on October 11, 1987, prompted by the Reagan Administration’s response to AIDS and a SCOTUS decision that sodomy was criminal between consenting adults in their home.

I did not previously know about the rally or SCOTUS decision; I found out about Reagan’s complicity only AFTER I left Georgia, for perspective.

This morning we were out of envelopes for ship paperwork (nice to have), cover sheets (really nice to have since they remind captains to send completed paperwork and where) and check deposit forms (vital). Paper clips or the nice bubble mailers work, the other two we now have. Crisis averted. How’re Y’ALL doing?
