The problem is, anything you commit a huge amount of time to *is* you to a certain extent; so much as I’d like to say “this resentful thing I am at my day job is not really the Jon who loves cats, who is wanted and valued, who cooks and draws,” even though I see my labor as coerced, I’m still stuck with the resulting despair , loneliness and anger being part of who I am. And I’m not really sure how to deal with that.

So far this evening I've visited the store, cleaned bed sheets, made bed, cooked up sigumchi namul, put in some pork chops to marinade, and am working on this eggplant salad from the Ottolenghi book. Honestly cooking turns out to appeal to me more for making stuff than for food.

So after a morning running at top speeds there’s… nothing. It hasn’t been this quiet in weeks, it wasn’t this quiet during the holidays or snowstorm. Which means I’m now feeling ugly and lonely and want to interact with people. Potential bad doomscrolling mood. Idk, what would y’all like me to talk about?

Rather than mention shit which pisses me off; what we need is a small scale dino combat game you can play with any toy dinosaurs (Schleich to the really PNSO stuff etc) sorta a Cretaceous equivalent of Gaslands.
