Again the AI art thing wouldn’t be a big deal if 1) art for bucks generated enough money to live on 2) people could just stick to art as a hobby more easily knowing they’d survive okay and 3) the people gleefully saying artists have nothing to worry about are the types who make 1 and 2 impossible.

So they x-rayed my mouth and were able to seal the crown back on my molar EXCEPT now they want to deepen the crown, which is reasonable, and which will require pulling the unerupted wisdom tooth immediately behind it, which is also reasonable. But my dental insurance kicks in next month, and the dentists are only open during normal work hours so I need to take time off, which means I don’t feel comfortable also asking for Yom Kippur off as I’d really wanted.

I used to think the worst movie of all time was "The Charge of the Light Brigade," in which Errol Flynn engineers one of the worst disasters in British military history to avenge a Sepoy Mutiny massacre on an evil raja who for some reason is hanging out in Crimea during the war.

I am now watching the ending and apparently I forgot that 1) the Charge was a win for the Great Britain (good show, jolly good show) 2) Russian cavalry were involved and 3) Ukraine looks remarkably like California.

Except then I spotted even more I didn’t like and futzed with the Aenocyon vs Smilodon pic more.
