More inked #drawings - back in November I was pondering a kobold character whose alchemy manifested as baking. So; sitting, putting stuff in the oven, and having some tea.

Inked #drawings today; a skeleton warrior or death knight; two adventurers come face to face with an ettercap in an abandoned temple; an armored vampire with possibly a ghoul steed rides down a nosferatu type; a wizard uses a magic staff to ward off acidic dragon breath.

… I can only assume somewhere out there some really fantastic cartoonist is looking at semi realistic stuff, perhaps even mine, and going “wow I suck compared to that.”

Part of the “artistic journey” sure seems to be dumping a huge amount of time into developing a semi realistic style pleasing to oneself, and then noticing other folks’ cartoons look infinitely better.

it's pretty disappointing that one of the best things about the Van Helsing soundtrack is it has that little swashbuckling sting, but at no point does our hero ever pull a rapier and jump onto a table to fight.
