load up on guns and bring your friends
its fun to lose and to pretend
she's over-bored and self-assured
I bleed, I bleed
loud Scottish noises, yelling, harsh language

Looking at a promoted roller that lets you stamp skulls into modeling putty for bases, I realize that in the 40K verse there are all sorts of molds for poured or stamped fabcrete. Someone makes a living off making skull and aguila decorations and putting them in place. Knowing 40K it’s artisans with clunky cybernetics whose families have done this since slightly after the Horus Heresy.
The most popular thing I can do remains werewolves and that seems to be true universally; I’ve seen artists do cuddly sweet werewolves, spattery horror werewolves, romantic lesbian werewolves, and folks LOVE it. Apparently werewolves are universally accessible. Lucky for me I like drawing them, because as an audience *I* love them (I’m thinking about how I nearly bought a Pathfinder wilderness guide because the cover has, you guessed it…).
Images, violence, fantasy creatures, firearm
#drawings today, remarkably badass ranger versus jackalwere and halfling cartographer (based off memory of Angus McBride’s version of Bilbo; I imagine him making maps in his comfy library while the ranger uses them). And elves (drow, druid, cool Shadowrun assassin, portraits). I basically went screw it I really want to draw faces.
"Riding the sandworm" is a euphemism for;
a) sex in reverse cowgirl position
b) being drunk enough to hold tightly onto the beach while vomiting
c) conquering Shai-Hulud, the Maker, to travel as a Fremen and to lead them to true freedom while avenging your father against the evil Baron Vladimir Harkonnen
d) other
images, fantasy humanoids, eye contact
Finished coloring a #drawing today, Clip Studio cut-and-grad coloring, wizard, sorcerer and warlock.

oh yeah the Punchout in Oakland theme tune!
gas station sign said "Propane Get Your Car Washed" and my brain immediately followed up with "propane get your car washed, get your car washed propane, you've been hit by, you've been hit by a smooth criminal."
it gets worse because that thought led to "Propane, Propane, Propane Propaaaaaaane, I'm beggin' you please don't take my man"
I reread my copy of Dragon 66, which is actually the first issue I'd ever seen. There are all sorts of imaginative ads, stats for Elfquest characters (I wouldn't get to read that until much later), book reviews for stuff I still haven't read (and Mercanter's Luck, which I loved later), spells, *two* different articles with monsters, stuff about languages and D&D weapon restrictions, a humorous short story and this gorgeous Wormy comic at the very end...
it really is magic to me, still.
Lots of random gunk, but some drawings and cooking talk too. Obsesses about DnD and related topics. Left-leaning/profoundly frustrated politics. Black lives matter; trans rights are human rights.
