Okay, inbox cleared, sent a response to a potential interview, applied for some jobs and most importantly, went through a job site to send off applications to an employer I truly hope to work for.

Gonna finally go use the toilet, and see if I can salvage the remainder of this evening.

man this Bog Wizard album is awesome but, and this was probably a foregone conclusion, I now want to play D&D a LOT more than I want to put in for jobs

I gotta remember that it's still basically high school. Nothing I could say, no matter how willing to compromise I might be, might even slightly get through. And I can't hit them which is the only thing they'd understand. Therefore I am best off being elsewhere and thinking about other stuff.

Colored up a today. Clip Studio and comic book cut and grad coloring mostly.

the Reverend Mother Gaius Helen Mohiam, and her famous box of 12 piece pain (regular, or extra crispy)

clearly what I needed was a reminder that my childhood wasn't very good and I have reactions I don't need.

Now they are ready for battle. But in order to lead them I must conquer the Worm. Conquer Shai-Hulud, Diane.

The exact "Yueh! He's sabotaged the House generators!" chords.

Actually I know EXACTLY what happens at each chunk of soundtrack in this movie. This is proof I have watched it enough and really do NOT need to get massively stoned and watch it AGAIN.

also honestly I'm not interested in rating pizza by major city, I'd be more interested in rating pizza by college town. Like, say, does Ithaca NY have better pies than Athens, GA?

this is completely academic interest and it's not at all about finding a pizza place in Bellingham my Dad might like

Because Ezell’s didn’t have gizzards or livers last time I went (first time!) I got ‘em today, figuring I would generate leftovers.

This did not generate leftovers.

Good but needed salt and also the livers fused together in the fryer as some weird kind of hepatomegaly.

A book on pet ownership titled “Think Like a Cat,” mostly glossy photographs of big patches of sunlight? Is there a fold your own box section?

I forgot the first rule of being Jewish; it’s never antisemitism. It’s always a joke, or unintentional, or just my over sensitivity. Never, EVER, call out a non Jew for anything.

PREVIOUSLY ON XX MEN

* the short hairy dude had a beer

* the incredibly earnest autistic dude painted something

* the REALLY hairy dude with exactly no focus bounced off the walls

"are you a person who has a disability" well yeah, I have CPTSD thanks to mistreatment after I had PTSD from an accident which nearly made me an amputee and nearly killed me, why, what would you like to know, whether I managed to get past several dozen hurdles so I could live below the poverty line?

oh YEAH it's time for the Pointless Destruction theme tune! BREAK STUFF!

coyote sing along hour

woke up in the morning peculiar feeling,
looked up and saw egg drippin' from the ceiling
the family, the punk rocks, the businessman
I'll dog everybody with the egg in my hand
not like the crack that y'put in a pipe
but CRACK! on y'HEAD!
here's a TOWEL!
NOW WIPE!

I adore how artichokes are this froo-froo food you eat like a caveman

the description of man as a featherless biped is specifically intended to exclude Utahraptor and other dromaeosaurs, clearly a big concern in classical Greek philosophical arguments

Depersonalizing feeling lousy about the job hunt has been incredibly emotionally useful. It took me this long to realize that if you’re getting hit in the head with a hammer, your only possible fault here is having your head vaguely nearby.
