This was (I'm pretty sure) an offshore recruiter and I usually assume THEY're trying to make some metric about contact rather than actually following through with anything about actually GETTING a job though.

Also now thinking about how a lot of my sorta negative assumptions- the world’s made for people officially better than me and I’ll be shat on almost as an afterthought, I can’t do all the social stuff I want, I can’t get to be successful with jobs and finances- aren’t just one assumption to challenge but several stacked with low resources, and that’s why they persist.
