I have no idea when I penciled or inked this, but listening to the Heavy Metal soundtrack obviously gave me the idea of how to color it. I played the "Green Ball" track from the B-17 sequence repeatedly while working on this .

A fair chunk of my morning was . This is with comic book ink-and-grad coloring.

You get so used to your friend being someone you like, you forget that he's basically a comic book character.

I do NOT feel good at all, and I think I'm gonna go idle to cook for a bit.

so Kirk Douglas’ therapist tells him “you should go see Spartacus it’s an inspiring uplifting film,” but he breaks down and cries “but doctor I am Spartacus,” right about then the door opens and the secretary declares “I am Spartacus,” and shows in the next patient who says “I am Spartacus” and then

Am I telling this joke right?

Yesterday, I finally figured out why I grew up around such a hate on for college degrees. There’s a class element; if someone goes to college, it’s assumed they have more money to do it, and will also have more money in the future as a result, unlike a poor person who loses because they lose because they’re losing. And to a conservative, who sees everything as a moral issue, if someone benefits despite something that wrong, they (not societal inequalities) are obviously evil.

Also and because I missed the first movie in theaters you get the HOT FURRY TAKE now;

tbh I don’t think either Wolf or Diane are that hot. Tarantula is deffo the cutest in the “I want to be her” sense. Shark is the cutest in the “I want to make out with this cartoon character” sense.

While listening to the Excalibur and Monty Python and the Holy Grail soundtracks, I colored up a .

what if I spread peanut butter on these chocolate peanut butter cookies to make them EVEN PEANUT BUTTIER? I swear I'm sober right now.

"So what's Heavy Metal about anyway?"

"Okay so there's a space car and an evil artifact decides some grade school kid will be vitally interested in its life story, and then there's some boring shit, and then there's a kinda okay sword and sorcery story, then there's this really hilarious story with awesome cartoony art, then there's THE AWESOME PART WITH WWII AND ZOMBIES, then there's a kinda unfunny comedic story with a pretty good line about being stoned, and then there's a kinda boring sword and sorcery story which they use to wrap up the film because they were baked and needed to end it somewhere."

honestly "B-17s! Only SUDDENLY for no reason GLOWING GREEN MAGIC TURNS THE CREW INTO ZOMBIES! The pilot narrowly escapes but finds himself TRAPPED ON AN ISLAND OF CRASHED PLANES BEYOND SPACE AND TIME" is sorta the most ADHD friendly plot of any of the Heavy Metal sequences, even if WWII aircraft aren't one of your hyperfixations

Was anyone around Seattle planning to head towards Furvana, in Ocean Shores, on September 5-7? I was planning to go, but would like to split the cost of a hotel room.

IYKYK is pronounced “IY-kick,” draconic for “trap,” and consequently a commonly used word and sometimes name among kobolds. That’s why you see it all over the internet, ever since kobolds really got popular.

The Bruce Willis sequel where he goes to coastal Maine, Live Crab Die Hard

The Bruce Willis sequel about terrorists taking over a collectible metal toy car show, Die Cast Die Hard

"Labubu" is actually short for their creators' personal values, "Laugh Bungie jump Burrito."

last night is definitely getting there and equally obviously nowhere near the skill I want to have.
