woooowwww. Today, with AD&D as firmly lodged in the past as outrage about Cyndi Lauper's "She Bop," someone pointed out ANOTHER thing Gary did to FUCK OVER PLAYERS. It's the helmet rule on page 28 of the DMG where I apparently missed it for DECADES.

and then in the shower I asked myself the obvious question, "could my ADHD make my depression worse/could my depression make my ADHD symptoms worse?" and a little bit of checking online revealed yes, but it was all phrased as "you're depressed because you can't successfully complete all these tasks and focus like you're required to," which kinda strikes a sour nerve.

And here my memory loss isn't doing me any favors. Previous years' dismal gray seem to get subsumed into office work remembered as busy and cold, and last year EVERYTHING was emotionally wiped thanks to the election, the only reason any of it got remembered was a once-in-a-decade storm.

Obviously Charlie Brown is Paul, since he has an evil sister, instead of Gurney, who's the bald dude but as a musician is a better match for Schroeder.

Snoopy is Duncan because he winds up kinda taking over the story but then what do you do with Woodstock?

So shitbag's worst Administration ever announced plans to drill in the Arctic Refuge literally a month back (and we all missed it thanks to the shutdown and denial of SNAP benefits THEY ENGINEERED) but now they're gonna expand offshore drilling. I hate how we have to have petrochemical exploration at all costs etc and rich people always conveniently forget; PEOPLE SURVIVE BY FISHING THERE. This isn't just anthropogenic climate change, that's THE FOOD SUPPLY NOW. Like if you want an older profession you're looking at farmer and prostitute.

I'm starting to think I'm a pretty good artist; after all, there are lots of good artists out there, many better than me, by definition, so just statistical probability means I'm probably at least pretty okay.

And the big reason I'd think I'm bad at this - making huge mistakes - is always going to be around from my clumsy uninformed start till whatever time far in the future.
