Trying to say something nice on a bad day so here goes;

When things have slowed I’ve been watching an interview with Karl Kopinski and about the last thing I expected is how completely likable he is.

And no matter what - violence or no - fucking right wingers will edit the history afterwards so that their fucking egregious side remains relatively unsullied.

It’s all really a big batch of despair.

Again, violent versus nonviolent protests I think is too nuanced to say one or the other is always more ethical and practical. History doesn’t lean either way (no matter what you’re looking at dead or ruined protesters, and the prior success of nonviolent independence and civil rights movements might hinge on a less controlled media). Worse, when you retake your power through violence about the nicest guys you wind up with are like what, Moshe Dayan, Ariel Sharon?

Actually now I’m thinking that trying to make monster abilities about equal *is* a vital rules thing because you want to downplay it (inequalities will throw players into thinking about rules); so that A’s trap setting ability is vaguely as good as B’s regeneration ability so both players can focus on being little dragon and hulking wolf people.
