Waaait. So if Zizek’s accused of being a dumpster diving raccoon turned human (doubt it) and Mark Hammill looks a little like Zizek, what d’you reckon Mark’s fusona is? I’ve been thinking about an alternate WWII comic for ages and did some reading today;

1) GIs could cook in their helmets with liners removed- but does anyone know if they were ever used to cook rice, specifically?

2) apparently that visor meant any pressure would pull the chinstrap up and really expose the wearer to attack, which is why you almost never see anyone actually using the chin strap. Since my characters are all likely to wind up in CQC, that visual is important!

The feeling of being completely crushed, of being trapped with no escape, is hugely about my circadian rhythm crashing. Not that I don’t have problems but I know everything looks bleaker than it did before lunch or will after work. If I could nap this would be less of a problem.

I’m rereading this novel for the first time in over a decade or two? on Project Gutenberg since work is currently slow, and it manages to be both problematic and kinda feminist for its time. Wow.
