the Cure song "Killing an Arab" is not intended to be anti-Islamic at all. It's about an old Albert Camus existentialist story in which the main character is a French soldier who has an existential crisis. Smith originally wrote the song as an assignment about the story, in high school.

The same story is where "The Stranger" gets its name.

Sooner or later *everyone’s* identity gets coopted as a marketing opportunity (eg “what does Coke have to do with being Black?”). Walking in a favorite park now and doing some fairly heavy duty journaling, about learned helplessness and encouragement/discouragement. But it’s way hot out here! In a bit I’ll find A/C.

I roughly laid out 4 pages, and am happy with how I built off the initial thumbnails. But realized there’s so much here I don’t “know” so I feel like I should work up design at some level rather than just working it up on the fly.
