I'm thinking that tomorrow I'm going to break from job hunting and try to crank on making comics, on painting, or on stuff for a customer first thing instead. Would you have any suggestions for which to go for?

Tuesdays is $5.50 movies all day at the local theater so I saw a movie and then came out of the theater and it was like WALKING INTO A SOLID WALL OF SHAWARMA SMELL.

There's this little glockenspiel leitmotif which shows up in the JW Fallen Kingdom soundtrack and combines with some really sad string motifs to suggests that the movie should occur around Christmastime, there should be snow, and a kindly old man passing away should be a lot more heartbreaking than it actually was in the movie (JW was technically a Christmas movie, Fallen Kingdom isn't afaik).

Hot take; the saddest part of all Star Wars movies so far is the fact that Ep III ends with Owen Lars gazing off dramatically into the twin sunset and the future, and by Ep IV Luke is doing it, Owen is too old and tired to care anymore.

oh yeah the regularly scheduled "wow, I learned completely the wrong languages to get a job" as a subset of the larger "wow, I completely wasted my opportunity at college and if I'd picked a GOOD major I wouldn't be doing this right now" as a subset of the larger feelings of being a completely worthless POS. Not very motivated to do job hunting this morning, like you've probably noticed.
