Okay, I'm not sure how many jobs I put in for just now, but I feel terrible, so I'm going to hold off further applications or any of these assessments until I've had some down time preferably working on art or something that doesn't make me feel like I'm just waiting to die, and the sooner the better.

I need to back away from the belief that I chose the wrong major in college, wasted my big chance, and will be punished for this the rest of my life. It plugs in too tidily to all of my other self-hate myths, stuff I believe as a consolation prize for surviving without thriving.

I hate being someone who has to emotionally hack their childhood on a semi-regular basis. At least this is less frequent than it used to be.

HOT TAKE the big thing to get out of the prequels, Ep VII-VIII, Rogue One and Solo is that there's nothing particularly infallible about Star Wars. We're just so used to thinking of the original trilogy - especially Ep IV - as beyond question, and honestly naw.

Within that more realistic 'lightning probably won't strike twice here" there's plenty of room for good and bad movies.

Okay my suggestion for making Fallen Kingdom/Whatever We Cynically Make Next even MOAR AWESOMER is that they couldn’t get all the original DNA so they augmented Mazie with DEINONYCHUS DNA so now she’s a terrifying part-raptor hybrid like Ellen Ripley is part xenomorph in Alien Resurrection.
