Here's the first page in a #comic I worked up from a script/layouts created in late 2015. This page isn't violent, but it's a pretty violent comic.
You can read the entire thing on my Tumblr, at http://crocutable.tumblr.com/post/176312383555/as-an-exercise-i-worked-up-a-4-page-comic-which
As an aside; has anyone reading ever tried to thread comic pages on FA? I'm having problems getting this to work.
2. I'm extroverted *and* shy, which means that I can be pretty happy just hanging out in the same room with people while drawing or online - but it can be harder for me to talk. I can be incredibly chatty in the right context, as I'm sure all y'all have noticed.
1. The last person I held hands with was Wayland, up in Seattle.
I've been lucky to get hugs from other folks since though.
1. holy crap there's another Brushwolf on Twitter and they ain't me.
2. damnit if I had just a spare $1600 sitting around

FUCK YES! FUCK ALL OF THESE SHIT!
Finished penciling and inking a 4 page comic, working from a script/layouts I came up with at the tail end of 2015. Need to scan/stitch this later and I feel this pointed out a lot of what I need to do digitally going forward.
Gotta say if you want to make your perfectionism freak out, work on something as an intentional test piece, *knowing* you're gonna fuck up.
Could it be time to dance around to "I Fink U Freeky" AGAIN? I don't see why not. #BoxerShorts #Laundry
also someone on FA posted a whole slew of commissions they got which are so rampantly Gay that it has now set the musical tone for the evening.
okay if I got supermarket sushi to eat, maybe I should eat supermarket sushi instead of going to town on potato salad, mac salad and these garlic olives I found in the 'fridge. #TrashDog
Grinding away on inks and started laundry when my housemates got in. Housemate #1 has a car, but she's drunk; housemate #2 was sober, can't drive, and forgot their backpack at the place where they got dinner. So I drove them to the other side of town, thankfully the waitstaff found their backpack, and I treated myself to supermarket sushi on the way back.
That loud clattering was my entire spoon drawer being emptied onto the floor, so I'm done inking for now.
Inking at top speed on this project. Sadly the earphone jack on my phone seems to be dying, which means no music, which means the steady barrage of not especially great music from the 60s that Peets has selected. So this is rapidly becoming an exercise in how much I despise my parents’ shitty generation and their shitty privilege and their shitty politics and especially their shitty music.
dinosaur movie hate, father issues
Have I mentioned how much I fucking hate Ian Malcolm? He isn't a paleontologist or ecologist, yet by FK he's an expert via having been there at the beginning (ONLY b/c he was an exciting known academic), despite how he's NEVER said anything positive or for that matter pragmatic.
And as a MATHEMATICIAN, the only way he'd be more intellectually superior to us shitty biologists is if he were a physicist. Did I mention these are personal buttons my Dad installed?
Also, I think it's specious to claim use is purely what a modern post-contact person would think. People with similar needs aren't too different by culture and the anecdotes that Greenlanders figured out Danish charts in no time suggests they were going in with a similar logic. I mean yeah, it's presumptuous but it's also the simplest explanation.

I'm in love! These are so incredibly logical;
* with no easy way to check distance other than very subjective paddle strokes, it makes sense piloting would really work on mnemonics
* sealing, estimating ice thickness etc, these are people who're gonna be thinking a lot in spatial relationships
* even if Inuit could have developed paper, it wouldn't be very practical while kayaking - this is portable, survives water and you can easily recarve it as the coast changes
Lots of random gunk, but some drawings and cooking talk too. Obsesses about DnD and related topics. Left-leaning/profoundly frustrated politics. Black lives matter; trans rights are human rights.
