Apparently being pissy at the agency worked as now they’re trying to get me a start date instead of asking me for more paperwork. I feel pretty bad and am thinking of calling it here and either getting very late breakfast at Ole’s Waffle House on island, or just heading to Oakland.

Nobody wants to scroll down and there’s naked lewds which they’d like seeing if they weren’t *on the bus*. Reading my fave Zappa lyrics or what I want done to me is something which would be nicer if optional. Flashy blinking stuff is a health problem for some.

But we are almost unanimously here because the news, and Twitter especially, stay in business by upsetting us, and it reroutes our dialogue. Let’s make here more of a place to interact.

and of course the flip side is guys like Tolouse-Latrec, Frazetta, NC Wyeth, Tyrus Wong, and their color is big, vivid, forceful.

I honestly think the stereotype is just that, it doesn't reflect how artists are actually wired.

something I think is kinda cool with gender stereotypes being not always accurate? I, at least, heard a lot about how women get color and men get spacial interactions yadda yadda.

Now there *may* be bias I'm not seeing (f'rex, women who "draw like guys" get more work) but some artists I really admire - JAW Cooper, Terryl Whitlatch, Claire Wendling and now Eliza Ivanova? They're ALL about the draftsmanship, they're awesome colorists but they don't *need* to be to be amazing y'know?

So I now have to further prove my employment in June-July 2016 and December 2016-November 2017, despite that both companies exist and can be contacted (only one is a temp job). This means I'm rooting through my moving boxes, and, you guessed it, more Stone Temple Pilots.

Okay the story with me and Swedish; back in 2006-2008 or so I bought Sierra Club, ACLU and NAACP memberships and signed tons of petitions and got spammed by every left thing out there. Including there was a protest of the Swedish agriculture department (?) hunting wolves as population control. So I signed and got Swedish environmentalist email spam, and I could only sort of crack it from German, but it’s such a pretty language!
