I was a doofus and remembered time zones exactly the wrong way, so my teams interview was at 0700 rather than 1100. Either I really did well or I botched this beyond all possible imagining, so I'm now *out* of interview outfit and cooking breakfast.

I woke up a fair amount early, too, thanks to this dream about The Beatles possibly committing a murder or at least joking about having done so; John playing it off as a joke about having secreted bits of his victim about the house during Christmas (I'm not sure why I apparently associate The Beatles with Christmas), Paul gleefully talking about eating the victim. Ringo just looked morose. No matter what actually happened it obviously wasn't his idea.

#drawings today, playing with drawing anthro deer and anthro spotted hyenas, figured an off day was a good time to do something I don’t think I do well anyway, maybe I’d find out something? Nudity but basically work safe (obvious bits covered, but ass).

I'm sure as soon as there's a way to blame Chinese people, Queers, or Jews, most Americans will FLOCK to the idea that climate change is a very real threat.

I really need to rewatch Raiders and try to analyze the hell out of it. Getting pulled into watching clips I'm struck by little things - camera or characters constantly moving, very intentional inclusion of music - which make informational, "talky" scenes (map room, Indy meets Army Intelligence, Indy talks to Sallah about the German dig) feel exciting and active.

It feels sort of unfair that having largely gotten past crushing self hate, it turns out the self hate was a coping mechanism which included a fair amount of distraction, and consequently everything seems utterly bleak and the walls are closing in, in part because the self-hate limited my ability to accumulate money, etc etc etc.
