In 2017 I worked for someone who was straight up a narcissistic abuser. Since I don't question this WAS abuse intended to break me down, I can actually use it as reference for how fucking bad childhood really was that way.

except to get back to my dorm room I had to go through the basement which was this maze of narrow corridors with exposed pipes and old washing machines. Years later they apparently made the place look less like where you could get pulled into the ceiling by a hungry xenomorph, but I definitely was ready to PUNCH something all the way back to my room.
