Today was the sort of visit with my folks where I think “I don’t care if I don’t want to hurt them, might need to ask them for money at some point, and feel like they’re my only avenue to ever having a house, I need to cut contact NOW.”

The day just went from “kinda frustrating” to “I am going to need beer or a half edible later.” Tempted to blather about my folks in general but, being roped into meals here is bad, and for whatever reason WAITING on meals here is incredibly triggery.

so I was able to reschedule my first interview from this morning, and completed that a while ago. So two interviews today, and I am now so fucking done.

Sometimes my ceiling/upstairs neighbors' floor squeaks frantically in ways which WOULD imply frantic sex - except if that's what it is, they hump in complete silence otherwise, and doesn't explain how frequently there are loud THUMPs afterwards, like they've moved on to practicing aikido. I *think* this might be a workout which mixes some sort of exercise machine and free weights but I'm not sure.
