This is a really SPECIFIC hyperfocus nerd gripe;

There’s been all these Aliens films since the first four but none with the USCM, and the hyperfocus part is, if the Colonial Marines are essentially Vietnam era in space, I really want to see whatever’s their equivalent to an M50 Ontos.

Yesterday’s #drawing. Inspired by Wargames Atlantic’s werewolves, I wanted to try more Hollywood style part bareskinned werewolves. I now think the feet should be five toed - there’s just too much muscle on a human’s big toe for it to absorb/become a dewclaw.

“DIG through the ditches and BURN through the witches I SLAM in the back of my DRAGULAAAA” is the old saying but what if you don’t want a slam in your Dragula, what if you want Moons Over My Hammy or substituting waffles or something?

Very weird quasi lucid dream in that my brain went "wait I've had this dream before" but consciously I don't think I have. About being near the coast in NZ, both I and a Canadian friend were underdressed for very cold/starting to snow. A school tour bus picked us up before it got dark, thankfully.

At some point I should probably get drunk or stoned and talk about coyote as personal and ethnic metaphor - strong enough to keep the association even if my take on the woo shifts.

Okay finally finished invoicing so BEFORE I get caught up in janitor stuff, here’s yesterday’s #drawings. I wanted to work on ungulates specifically for different body types but, also, carnivore faces are easier to anthropomorphize. CW tame nudity

Look, we all know how this’ll play out; Harris will run intellectual circles around, and be far more charming than, Trump. Trump will rapid fire semi coherent bullshit, at least most of which will be horrifying and untrue. Media will declare both candidates performed equally well. So why even watch?

Not this past weekend, but the Sunday before, I visited Lincoln Park in west Seattle. It’s full of trails and ridiculously pretty.

why am I even awake right now?

as I get older I realize that one of my big difficulties is something uncomfortable happens - I'm stuck in traffic or at work (no longer stuck in school or at my parents' place as often), sleep's broken, bits and pieces of the greater world are terrible - and it sets me up to notice negatives. And before I turned 18 and got free, I never had to wait long before something bad slammed in while I was off balance. Consequently a lot of why I feel bad is trained observation bias; it took years getting to where this is obvious, but I'm not quite at "can step past it" yet.

"It's not at the hotel I already checked. I left my head on either an 18 line bus boarding at the Hyatt around 12:30-12:40 or I left it on the blue line light rail arriving at MoA around 13:30. It was in a black heavy duty trash bag."
