Idk I feel in-between in general. Cluing in, but not clued in.

Purchased three old Thors from the dollar been because of recognizable Simonson art. Got a Dark Crystal comic because this issue had Skeksis. I feel really flawed right now tho, like I should be making comics and need to push myself more that direction.

A fundamental misunderstanding in D&D is that all sorts of rules need to be in place to keep players from cheesing out with monster characters. My admittedly biased experience is that players want to be a cool monster and the actual power of breath weapons, traps, stampede attacks or whatever is secondary.

This again plays into thinking about Fate cause hey, a monster ability is a gimmick right there.

When you're from a background like mine (and I actually think this is way more common around here than not) there's a bad overlap between "you can't do what you want because it's costly or impractical" with "you can't do what you want to do because you've internalized that wanting things or spending time/money on YOUR wants is reprehensible."

This tangential to wanting to take off south to visit the FLGS, hang out in a fave coffee shop to draw.

and uh I was thinking about HORRIFYING DEBAUCHERY before this happened, which okay I shouldn't be doing in a coffeeshop anyway, and it's totally like a bucket of ice water with extra bleach upended over you while showering. (Don't ask how I know what that feels like.)

Calculated and wrote up but have not yet mailed in taxes.

My plan is to use a depilatory on chest and belly, and then to go to a coffee shop and crank out my taxes.

(Normally I'm more motivated to do my taxes because eh, it's kinda clunky math and over soon with a good cup of coffee. But it's hard to feel like my last job won't somehow have screwed me, and the idea that I'm giving/gave money to this regime is demotivating.)
