You know how the water emoji is three drops of water 💦 ? For whatever reason I keep parsing that as a Bronx cheer/raspberry.

I’m still angry about it.

I may never stop being angry about it.

Now that I’m better able to retain perspective about work stuff (partly because of understanding just how badly the open office setting can affect me), I can still see how it hit me that hard. I am still incredibly low on spoons, only an uncomfortably small distance from a really bad depressive episode. I wish I had a little more distance.

I’m kinda afraid to do that “art vs. artist” thing, most of my drawings are monsters and/or heavily armed, so I’m pretty sure they’d beat me up.

Maybe they’ve already inspired me, and a truer (certainly more practical) way to honor how cool they were is simply to keep making my own stuff.

So now I wait on a BART platform with an overcrowded train still stuck in the station, with fucking rich boomers trying to break line for the next crowded train. There are few times I detest the Bay Area so much as BARTing into or out of the city.

Technically the President can’t go to war without Congressional approval but has a lot of options as Executive Actions, afaik. It would be within his restrictions to launch some sort of attack at Syria and Clinton, Bush II and Obama all might were they in office now.

I suspect a lot of humanity works this way.
