Autism hot take
The more I learn about Autism, the more I feel it's the way humans are Supposed to be, and "Neurotypicals" are the evolutionary stepping stone.
Because everything neurotypicals do in reaction to autistic people comes down to "Don't Be Like That!"
Gee, if we were trying to evolve to meet the requirements of a world that's changed in a massive way, folks who wanted to see us Fail would do shit like that, wouldn't they?
Also, getting kinda salty over the number of folks I know who are Clearly Autistic, but go "Well, I've never been Tested Soooo..."
Like... Dude, I can see it from Orbit. It's nothing to be Ashamed of. It's why you're so amazing at (Fill in the blank advanced skill)
"Oh, but that's just normal for me, I dunno why I'm so good at it!"
Because you're autistic.
Autism hot take
@Motodrachen i agree that the stigma for autism is bad and that a lot of benefits autism gives people are overlooked, but i feel like running with the idea that there's a small subset of humanity that's superior to the rest from an evolutionary standpoint is, well, not exactly great
