HR met with my boss and talked to him, and it set him off enough that during afternoon standup he chewed us all out about how advancement is purely merit based, how he doesn't owe us promotions or permanency and how he's completely merit based and is not playing favorites. How promotion's earned and not expected (but apparently CRANKING MORE INTENT WORK THAN ANY OTHER CONTRACTOR ISN'T EARNING ANYTHING IS IT) And, how as contractors we should report any issues to our agency and not ever contact HR or fill out HR's regular one-question mini surveys. And here the one on one was dry and merely uncomfortable, what, he hadn't made me uncomfy enough today? I hope he's fucking in huge trouble with HR, I hope they CAN his fucking ass.
