I dunno if my straight friends really get it, because I'm in stealth mode but if all it takes is a change of materials then gender really is fake.
I carry a purse and wear a skirt and floral blouse and leggings, but through careful subversion of tropes, I can do all that without alerting the normals
Currently it seems like the clothes ladies are wearing is like...
Leggings/yoga pants and a tee-shirt.

Yeah, more and more I'm really feeling like I'm owning the whole non binary thing.
It's still tough to feel like there's allowance for non-conforming people in an increasingly granular world of social identity.
But I guess I'm gonna have to accept what I am and hope it's not too socially weird.
It feels weird even in queer spaces, where there's this subliminal nudging towards cliques and definitions.
