Don't be too hard on yourself if things aren't working out. We have the worst president in memory, during a pandemic that's killed 160k+ Americans, and the people in charge are not providing any help or relief. The government is the failure here, not you.

Don't shoulder the blame and damage your self worth because the system is rigged and isn't working. SCREW THAT. You are not a failure. You. Are. Not.
We're all struggling together! Going to work and catching Covid could possibly kill you or the people you care about. This is not on you! You should not have to struggle or even worry about finding work during this time. It's irresponsible of those in charge to expect it.

I was afraid of: moving across the country on borrowed money (even though I had nowhere else to go)
After facing the fear: I made it there with cash to spare and found a job within a month that enabled me to get into a house with friends. I was living my best-ever life at the time, inside of 4 months. It was a risk, but when life gives you no other choices, sometimes the best choice is to truly commit to taking that leap of faith and making the best of whatever comes of it.

I had the inverse happen, my whole tribe of white people got appropriated and annexed by a native american medicine man and chief. Ever since then, my life has been Full of all sorts of native spirits and beings.
The local fae little folk look at me like I'm a talking dog, and Baron Samedi got on my case for being White.
Apparently celtic irish aren't supernaturally white by default.

Had a very matter of fact convo with my new co-worker yesterday at the sprout farm.
She knew about trans stuff, but hadn't bumped up against non-binary folks. And hadn't bumped up against a Witch in ever, even though she's a Natural for the talent. She knew I was Autistic out the gate, that helped.
...Also, I'm physically demolished from this job, it's like Tai Chi, Ballet, and culinary stuff all wrapped up in what amounts to a surgical gown.
