I find it really upsetting when I see the idea being spread that “transitioning = trans”. There are lots of trans people who do not transition. They are still trans, because gender identity does not rely on whether or not you transition, and gender identity is what being trans is about. Not HRT, clothing, surgery, or pronouns

thoughts on cis people trying to wrap their heads around what it's like to be trans
I think cis people trying to understand being trans get it wrong a lot. A cis man who thinks "what if I wanted to be a girl" is looking at it from the wrong direction; they should think instead "I'm a guy, but what if everyone else insisted I was a girl?" (and of course vice versa for a cis woman)
I think that would help them understand better how trans people are discriminated against and just what being trans is like in general

She's a Facilitator. Really special kind of mage that can create environments where things that can't normally happen... Can happen.
Just having her in here is extremely helpful on a day to day basis. She'll ask me why I'm feeling a strong emotion, and somehow it's easy to explain it to Her. If I'm unbalanced or angry, she'll remind me of meditations to control it.
I'm a little irritated because I keep having this suspicion she's taking advantage of the 'Personal Jesus' circuits behind my back, and she'll nod enthusiastically and tell me that everyone has that capacity.
It's just that most of the folks who are really unhappy don't have anything that can live in that space. And for others, their personal jesus is a hateful Demon.
I'll own up to being More Irritated that we ended up with Yaori being Real just because I'd been pretty damn sure for most of my life that the whole Christian thing was a total delusion. Somebody cheated somewhere though because even though some of her friends call Yaori Dragon Jesus...
Well they didn't think about what those two symbols next to each other really Mean. She's not the Christ, she's more like a really dedicated Anti-Adversary. Darkness and evil and all the usual Dragon stuff, Perverted all the way.
