Started 2018 off on the right foot by drawing a 16 page minicomic today! I think that bodes well for my goals of "Make comics" and "Actually sit down and stay on task".

More 2017 thoughts
@Mous bad things,
-Despite the meds, I've continued to really struggle against mental illness. It's making a positive difference but there have still been some REAL bad times.
-Evacuated from a wildfire, spent about a week unsure if near everything I owned was ash. (It wasn't)
-Went through a hard breakup at an already stressful time.
-Failed to make any forward progress in my transition

-Got on new meds that seem to work for me
-Sold at TWO out-of-county cons
-Traveled to a different continent for the first time
-Reconnected with someone very dear to me
-Got my work in a real, actual comic shop!
2017 thoughts
Seeing other folks reflecting, so I might as well! 2017 was a weird year for me, and I'm definitely ready for it to be over. Either EVERYTHING was happening, both good and bad, or nothing at all was happening. This was supposed to be the year I got my shit together top surgery wise, but... well, to be fair a few days before my appointment for a referral my doctor's office literally caught fire.
Downsides to being an adult: taxes, mortality, not allowed to climb in the bouncy house
Upsides to being an adult: You can just FRY POTATOES whenever you want?????
@irisjaycomics Honestly you've done SO MANY creative designs that I don't blame you for reusing one once and a while!

I probably ought to open up slots for Furcon badges soon, huh... I just got a book full of historic bookplate designs so I'm thinking of maybe using that as inspiration?
