Weird childhood memory:

When I was small, if I wanted something but didn't think it was likely I'd be able to have it I would say "I wish I had [thing]" out loud. I wasn't trying to get the thing, it's just that expressing that I wanted it made not having it easier. I remember trying very hard to explain this whole situation to my parents and being frustrated when they didn't get it. It seemed so simple to me?

My intent is to use this account in a more laid-back/casual fashion than I do my Twitter account, but work is like 90% of what I do so I feel like I'll probably end up talking about it a lot anyways. Maybe I need more hobbies.

Oh, I'm late to the party but I got to read "My Lesbian Experience with Loneliness" and it was LOVELY? Some hard-hitting mental health stuff for sure, but I enjoyed the hell out of it.

Photographing shiny things is the worst. Everything has to be taken at weird angles so the camera doesn't reflect back. Aaauuuugh. awoo.space/media/1jEiEYFefNzSL

Quiet 👀 at like fifty zines and anthologies I could be applying for..........

Just going to kind of... periodically drop recent work on here, I guess. How about some boys in binders?awoo.space/media/2NmQ27wbV8JVj

Gosh, I exist. Look at that. Gonna have to get this thing actually set up...
