Fire
The ice rink south of my home has burned down. I don't have much hope for our apartment at this point.

The hospital near our apartment is being evacuated, glow of the fire is visible from it as of ten minutes ago. I really don't want my apartment to burn down.
Update: we evacuated, last we heard the fire was at the end of our (fairly long) street. Mandatory evacuation of our area was issued shortly afterwards. We're safely at a friend's place now, but I'm worried about our apartment. :(
Heyyyy so all residents north of a street within walking distance of me have been advised to evacuate due to wildfire. Cool. Neat.

I could have handled it and just quietly changed back the bits that bothered me if not for that comment!!! But now I'm fucking incensed.

There's a blemish I've had near my eye for literal YEARS and people always mistake it for a mole but I've been certain it wasn't and I finally??? Got whatever was in that fucker OUT!!! This thing has been bothering me for years and I'm so damn triumphant!!!

I visited a dear friend lately and bought them a bottle of multivitamins, which I genuinely expected to be forgotten and lost within a day of my leaving but... they've been taking them???? I'm so proud. ;A;

Traveling is weird because I tone down my Queer a lot and start getting "miss" and "ma'am" and "lady" aimed at me. I got a "madam" today. People are never quite sure how to address a mid-20s, partially testosterone face. I'd rather be getting "sir", or nothing at all, but it stings less to hear when I'm at least not actively trying to present masculine.
Waiting for the bus to the plane to the plane to home. I'm honestly so glad I went on this trip - though I wish my friends were a little easier to shop for >:P
