-Despite the meds, I've continued to really struggle against mental illness. It's making a positive difference but there have still been some REAL bad times.
-Evacuated from a wildfire, spent about a week unsure if near everything I owned was ash. (It wasn't)
-Went through a hard breakup at an already stressful time.
-Failed to make any forward progress in my transition

-Drew at least 60 pages of comics!
-Got on new meds that seem to work for me
-Sold at TWO out-of-county cons
-Traveled to a different continent for the first time
-Reconnected with someone very dear to me
-Got my work in a real, actual comic shop!

Seeing other folks reflecting, so I might as well! 2017 was a weird year for me, and I'm definitely ready for it to be over. Either EVERYTHING was happening, both good and bad, or nothing at all was happening. This was supposed to be the year I got my shit together top surgery wise, but... well, to be fair a few days before my appointment for a referral my doctor's office literally caught fire.

Downsides to being an adult: taxes, mortality, not allowed to climb in the bouncy house

I probably ought to open up slots for Furcon badges soon, huh... I just got a book full of historic bookplate designs so I'm thinking of maybe using that as inspiration?

My ideal ending for Nozaki-Kun is that Nozaki and Sakura end up accidentally for-real-married while researching for a marriage plot in 'Lets Fall in Love' and then just... never get around to getting it anulled. Sakura moves in with Nozaki temporarily as part of the research and they just end up in easy, comfortable domesticity.
