Work frustration
Okay so. Say there's Alice, Bob, and Cathy. I'm Bob (hello). The Process is that Alice works on a thing, hands it to Bob, Bob works on the thing, stores it for Cathy to quirk in the next day. It doesn't matter when Bob does work, as long as it's after Alice but before Cathy. Which is what I (Bob) have been doing the last three years, happy the job is flex time. Until new manager this week.
Continued.
Personal frustration, gross
Feeling physically ill, hurting in places, I could be authorized to go home early if I finish my stuff but I can't because my new supervisor won't pick up his phone so I can't get authorization so I'm just going to have to tough it out and hope I don't bleed too much argh
@zim I interact with plenty of people indirectly :D
Someone keeps buying these scrolls and armor, and I buy metal and leather and herbs from people who gather. And randos help me defeat difficult rare spawns (but leave before I can say thanks)...
Welcome back @typhlosion
@Siphonay@octodon.social I love my car and would likely be unemployed without it. Public transit is terrible here, and no job I've had in the past decade would have been possible without my car.
To me, my car is my freedom to go anywhere, anytime, for any reason.
I'll continue to own a car until there are better alternatives available.
@Pizzazz Two, maybe three pettings.
@vahnj +1 size bonus to attack rolls and AC, +2 dex bonus which means +1 to attacks and AC, can easily outrun dwarven guards, what's not to like
loneliness feels
@bunnyhero I feel like I belong nowhere too, like I'm the outlier's outlier.
@vahnj @forestservice Yeah, Eberron turns D&D on its head, but is still D&D inclusive. If you want to take a little bit of the D&D baggage out of Eberron, I've heard people say a lot of its aspects are enhanced if you run it under Savage Worlds.
@vahnj tf'ing furries as playable races, gender-neutral robots, "good vs evil" thrown out the window, barbarian halflings riding dinosaurs, I find Eberron a cool setting to run and play in.
(Plus plenty of undefined pockets to make my own.)
@vahnj I keep telling people to pronounce it koBOLD not koBALD, with the mnemonic
Kobolds are brave and fearless, not lacking in hair.
Even though the reverse is usually true. Shiny forehead.
