But what is higher than all this is the conceptualization of this greater cycle of connections. I see children growing up fine, else… impressionable. with hope. And a society that gradually stamps out the hope and wonder, whimsy and dreams, until the child is a part of the cycle that does the same to the younger generation.
I don't know how accurate a model it is… just… I wonder how much of our issues would be solved if we broke the cycle.

@Oneironott This sounds like an accurate model from everything we've seen and from all the stories told by those who've also gone through it.
Somewhere along the way the component of "make things better for the next generation" never really happened. Lots of "make it good for me and forget anyone else" was enshrined instead.

Tend the empathy that connects us
The dreams that keep us moving forward
The whimsy and adventure that staves off closed mindedness
The hope that keeps us strong.
The mix of it all…
I don't know. Just musing
