This isnt a subtweet to anyone or anything, just me tired of edge cases i see harm innocent folks because people assume something is black or white

Tangential to this is this low-key desire to mention more that sometimes, although rarer, some abusive/manipulative people do call victims abusive because of the reactions of folks believing the victim (the abuser in this case)

Just… may this make is an empathetic generation that leans on each other, rather than a paranoid one that trusts no one.

I’m not saying that ignorance is good but i’d be lying if i said it didnt cross my mind everytime Yet Another Hero turns out to be garbage and theres little if anything to look up to anymore besides our peers

While i am all aboard the past few years’ trends of finally calling out abusive and shitty folks (usually cis men), i often wonder what the hell “everyone i ever looked up to is turning out to be horrible” is doing to us amidst politics, late capitalism, global warming, etc
