Good morning all! Onto episode six of Cosmic Star Heroine this morning. Hope to see you there! twitch.tv/cookiemom

Digital Devolver 2018 press conference is still the best part of E3. LootBoxCoin is goddamn amazing. :D

@Angle Do you need a fabric softener? Most modern clothing doesn't require it:

adequateman.deadspin.com/fuck-

But if you're determined:

"Another very good substitute is the use of a half-cup of white vinegar in the rinse cycle of the wash—it will act as a natural fabric softener, as well as an odor neutralizer."

People are talking about E3, and the thing I'm most excited for is the Devolver Digital press conference. Because of last year's press conference.

@xoxogossipgita Article pitch: "One year later, did Devolver Digital keep it's E3 2017 promises?"

Regarding that last boost, I've been that asshole. I've hated people online because they thought something different than me. I've continued using hurtful language that people told me was hurtful, because I didn't mean it "in that way". I've been a heckuva jerk.

So, I always want to see people swing back from being that jerkbag. But I do need to see that behavior start to change before welcoming them in. It's not easy, but it is worth it.

@maloki @noiob Yeah, a way to highlight which toot was linked to would be useful in that.

I love people who try to be soft. I think about it a lot. I used to be an asshole when I was younger, I was sexist and racist, definitely shades of queerphobia (a lot of interalised shame about my own queerness). It was all about being edgy and tired of the world. I remember when I looked what I was saying and doing and went "no, actually, I am a good person, this is not what good people say and do."

I love people who have stared themselves down and gone "No."

Hey folks! I just wanted to give a separate boost to @maloki 's post 'cause I have thoughts:

There are people in the fediverse who are opposed to a CoC. That it can be used as a tool to further discrimination against minorities.

I want the CoC to help flourish the environment for minorities, to protect them from social media attacks. But I don't know what would be needed for that. So, hey, survey! Give us the information we need to help make your social media better.

@Maiasma Indeed. Sadly, I did not look into the issues before leaping in.

Going live with some N++ shortly, I expect to explode lots and be swayed by greed for gold to not take an easy path. Come on by and say hi! twitch.tv/cookiemom

TL;DR #ForkOffTogether Update #3

@Laurelai , @PaulFerence and I, will not become the defacto leaders, we're putting measurements in place to avoid this.

We are only trying to use the survey to invite everyone to a meeting, to start up an organization of the meeting's choice.

Another survey, together with more information, is coming out tomorrow to help us rough draft one of the documents we will suggest at the meeting.

Everyone will get a vote.

Apparently there is a bug with BattleTech where it just... refuses to save your game.

BattleTech. C'mon. Why.

ForkOffTogether Update #2

The pre-project #ForkOffTogether tagline is:

Community Over Code

We, @Laurelai , @PaulFerence and I, will be using this to help describe and guide the current process.
It derived from Organization First - Code Later, we managed to write a few iterations and find a nice tagline to use for now.

So if you're wondering why there's no code-fork yet. That's why.

The shift in the community has already happened, and all of you who reached out are proof of that. #ForkOn
